Here's what we were working with - a fully fenced backyard taken over by dried-out weeds from fence line to fence line. No usable grass. No real outdoor space to speak of. Just a yard that had been sitting untouched long enough that the whole thing had gone completely golden and dead.
That kind of yard doesn't get fixed with a bag of seed and some water. It needs a full clean-out and a fresh start. So that's exactly what we did. We cleared everything out, prepped the ground, and laid fresh sod across the entire backyard - framed out with fresh mulch beds along the perimeter to keep things clean and defined.
The result is a yard this family can actually use. Kids can run around. You can set up chairs, fire up the grill, or just let the dog out without wading through knee-high weeds. That's the whole point - turning a space that was basically wasted into something worth spending time in.
Sod installation done right takes more than just laying rolls of grass. Ground prep matters. The grade matters. Getting clean edges matters. We take that stuff seriously because a yard that looks good on day one AND holds up over time is what people are actually paying for.
Star, Idaho is growing fast, and a lot of newer homes in the area are sitting on yards that still need work. If your backyard looks anything like this before, we can help get it where you want it.
